Yay! More work for Zyxt!
/me gets ready to put the new secret characters through hell and back to learn all their dirty secrets.
Speaking of which, could we possibly get a list of what was changed in the current secret characters so we can update the list?

And BTW CD, are the new items going to be put in the FAQ? I made it with mainly V1 stuff.

Re: Version 1.2 and Roadmap(?) --- 1.2 DOWNLOAD IS LIVE
Busara wrote:Hello Rogue Touch team,
I just wanted to congratulate you guys for delivering such a fine pocket version of Rogue. I am impressed how you managed to make the game so incredibly easy to play on the iPhone. It truly works great, and is fun and rewarding to play (even though I find my character dying a lot - but that's a very common part of this game indeed!).![]()
It is great to see work is still being done to further improve on the game. I can't wait to experience what you guys have in store for us Rogue-fans next.
I pretty much consider myself a casual player, so I'm looking forward to some additional atmospheric soundeffects. Second, I'd *really* like to see the original ASCII tile set to be available as an option. It will be really fun (in a cool retro-way) to be able to experience the game like it appeared before pretty graphical tiles became available.
Thanks again, and keep up the great work!
Busara, thank you for the feedback, and we're really glad that you find Rogue Touch an easy game to pick up and play. A lot of thought went into condensing the crazy keyboard interface into something easy for a small touch screen

ASCII tiles are definitely something we've seen requests for already, so we will try to work up a couple of alternate tilesets for future releases

We've been a bit lax on responses this week with the 1.3 work and submission (not to mention our day jobs!) but we'll try to catch up with everyone over the next few days!

Cant wait!
I'm fine with erasing the HOF because i retrieved the amulet once and got close alot of times but I made it always with superweapons on v1.1 so I'm glad to start again
Keep up the good work!

Oh yes!!! You guys rock! My index finger thanks you!CommanderData wrote:Hallway Path-Finding: Now when playing fast-mode, double tap will cause your character to run and follow all twists and turns in a hallway until reaching an intersection or the next room!

CD,
Actually, I wish there was an option reset the high score list. No offense, but I'd like to erase the default high scores list that come with the game.
Thanks!

Don't worry, it gets erased soon enough from playing!swhatley wrote:CD,

Re: Version 1.3 --- Submitted to Apple
Still no news from Apple... The wait is the worst! I think based on recent reports on timing I have seen it might be approved in a batch tonight, or perhaps tomorrow.
We've actually found some bugs that need fixing, but can't submit them without getting bumped back to the end of the line! That would mean no 1.3 until NEXT weekend. I really don't want to do that, so we'll probably push a 1.31 update shortly after this is approved... Item FAQ will be ready soon- including weapon and armor details
Hang in there everyone!

Tremendous effort, simply awesome. I had no idea you guys were gonna pack so much heat in 1.3; totally can't wait.
I hope SFX are planned for a 1.x release, that's something I truly miss after playing ClassicRogue.
