I did a search but couldn't find mention of this: A slime may split even if you successfully feed it a meal to put it to sleep on the same turn. This seems like a bug (probably a very old one).

Hi Zaxxon, that does seem like a bug... A long undiscovered one at that!

I suppose technically a slime could be split in two passively while asleep, but the animation and assumption is it doing the split actively.

Good to know either way as lots of stuff will be addressed in 2017, with a re-write of the original Rogue Touch that is happening alongside Rogue Touch 2.
