Cosmetic bug: 2.2.1, non broken, second gen touch.

*Repeatedly tap the hall of fame button extremely fast.
If you're fast enough, instead of the hall of fame sliding downward and exposing the homepage, the whole homepage will flicker and then it will slide out. It may also start sliding, flicker, and resume.

Interesting! I was also able to crash it by messing with the Hall of Fame repeatedly today (checking some functions for the online scores)... I will take a close look at that. ;) Still in Apple limbo, I think at this point I will be stubborn and wait another day to see what happens. But seriously, if they have not approved 1.3 by the end of the week I'm just gonna have to cancel it and submit 1.4

Minor bug. Was standing in a doorway and was attacked by an ice monster. Never saw the bolt or effects.

1) Type of Device: iPod Touch 2nd Gen.
2) Which firmware version: 2.21
3) Is it Jailbroken: No
4) Describe the problem, and how to reproduce it if known:

Basically, I had 2 rings equipped, and I accidentally threw one instead of a potion. I later picked up another ring, and tried to equip it... only to find that it though that the other ring was still "equipped". I'm not actually sure what that one ring's effects were, so I don't know if I kept its powers.

Came back the next day and there was no problem, but it was still pretty annoying... especially since I took off my other ring to get around the bug, and the ring I put on instead was cursed. Cue me being trapped in a room with no doors, unable to put on the ring that'll find 'em for me. XD

Hi BTA- That sounds like an easy one for CommanderData to fix! Since we just re-submitted an update it will be the first one on the list for the next version. You do know you can search for secret doors with the magnifying glass button too right? I'm sure you're just teasing, I know it's much easier to just wear a ring that does the dirty work for you! :D

Oh, and lr100- we've seen that type of thing before where you are technically in the line of fire, but it cannot reach you- did that pathway to your right have a "U" or "S" curve just ahead? So that the ice monster could be a straight line away, but the hallway is not? If so, that would definitely explain it. We need to get them to stop shooting unless they have direct line of sight

The ice monster was in the room to the left.

ooooh that might even be more interesting. I wonder, was it standing in that doorway when it shot, or just to the left (in the other hallway)? If you saw it appear after the shot, it may have tried to shoot through the door, which would have been a similar effect to what I mentioned with the twisted hallways. Still not desired of course

Yup, I know. Just that it took forever to finally find it, so it made me regret putting on that other ring.

EDIT: Oh, and I've had something like that with an Ice Monster myself.

Let's say the hallway was something like this:

_________|
_________i
------------|
|
-----------x-----

With the -s and |s being hallway, the _s being blank space, the i being the ice monster, and x being me. He shot and froze himself while I was walking by.

It turned out to be a very easy fix. CD has informed me that it is fixed now! And for good measure it was changed slightly- you cannot throw an worn ring at all now. It will do just like it does for armor and warn you that you need to take the ring off first. I think that'll cover your feature request too!

As soon as 1.3/1.4 is approved (if you didn't read the whole sorry tale, go to the announcements section above) we'll try to have another update ready to push in with at least an solid handful of new features and bug-fixes

That diagram is exactly what I thought happened to lr100! The two monsters with projectile "breath" have an issue like that (I'll give you a nickel if you can guess the other one), hopefully we can straighten it out soon. Fortunately it doesn't affect the game, because they are not harmed by their own attacks, but it is a bit annoying that they try :P
