<Joke - In the style of the Bud Light "Real Men of Genius" radio ads>
<Also, making a gender guess based on your username - hope I'm right!>

Today we salute you, Queen of the Rogue Touch leaderboards....

You dedicated every last second of spare time - at stoplights, on the phone, in the bathroom - to making sure that
Rogue Touch players the world over would someday know that you have absolutely no social life.
You could have stopped anytime you wanted - but what's the point when you're a crossbow short of
carrying an entire set of weapons vorpalized against slimes.
And besides, who cares about make-up when with just 2 more scrolls of enchant weapon, you'll finally be able
to one-hit kill a dragon - until the next floor, when you'll need two more.

So here's to you, Queen of the Rogue Touch leaderboards!

</Joke>

In all seriousness, Congrats! I'm pretty sure you've set new records for Gold, Kills, Steps, and Floor Depth in one go. How long did it take you?

Whew, floor 267!!! You must have gotten some seriously good enchantments on the way to make it that far down. Usually the thing gets too unbalanced to be able to hit monsters much anymore past floor 200... not that many people ever dive that far :mrgreen:

So, please do tell, what were you packing for items to get that far in? Give us a bit of a story, how did you keep fighting that far, any close calls? I'd like to make sure that Spirit Hunter Mineko encourages this sort of play in the post-game dungeon, so every little tidbit helps! :lol:

Well, gave it a college try, but only made it to floor 148 -- the run was good enough for 7th overall.

It took me several months to get to that. I wanted to make sure it would be extremely hard for anyone to beat my status, so I kinda overdid it and tripled the score of the previous #1. I did most of this my last semester of college during breaks, as you have already listed above. I blame this fame as being contributed to my partial OCD and my perfectionist attitude. Also, an ex-boyfriend starting me on this game and it was a competition between is and he kept winning. He explained how it took certain skill (in a sexist way). After we broke up, I started playing it SO much over the course of a year and in a six month period, I just kept building up my gold, weapons (the right ones) and here is my trick:

I went up to the highest level to collect the Amulet, then I would descend to floor 2, regain potions and gold wearing a ring of searching, and would go back and forth till I felt I had enough gold and weapons under my belt. I then, continued to the harder levels, and the vampires are really the ones to watch out for bc you can't kill them as easily and they suck your life, and that's what kills ya eventually because the lower your life number, the easier it is for a monster to kill you. Hope any of this helps. It's been a year since I've even looked at the game, so I tried to recollect from memory.
