Hack was a descendent of Rogue, after people started gluing on all kinds of wacky stuff. Of course eventually that evolved to Nethack, with everything including the kitchen sink(!) in it

Rogue Touch may get methods to spend cash in the future... I can say the recently announced Rogue Touch EX will have a roaming shopkeeper in the game. No specific release date is set for EX yet, but I will start posting now info about it here soon
