It's intentional, I guess about the same as you can't eat 2 foods right away

He can identify all rings as they are picked up, and the ones he starts with are randomized, which means you can start with a pretty incredible selection of rings if you get lucky... maybe slow digestion, searching, and regeneration or disarming would be ones to wish for

Just tried him out. Started with a +5 ring of protection, a +2 ring of protection, and a ring of searching. Started with -1 armor level

My first try had a ring of teleportation, see invisible and aggravate monsters Second try was better, with +3 dexterity, +2 add strength, and +3 add damage. I wonder why it is, though, that when you start out with an add strength ring that you seem to get only your base strength value and not have +2 on top of your base value........you have 16/16 with the ring on, instead of 18/16, and if you remove the ring you only have 14/16.......

i just peeked around at several of the leaderboards and was quite happy to see zaphod trumping neo on the secret board, i think i made a pretty good choice in the naming selection for all those who get the refference

Well Neo's back on the board now. (man games really can last too long with Neo) I can't believe that being a gamer for so long that before Rogue Touch came to the iPhone i had never played it before. By far my favorite iPhone game (and i have quite a few) and can't wait for more special characters.
