Help with bows crossbows please? (thrown vs shot)

First off, Awesome port! Love it..

Can someone please tell me if there is a difference between shooting and throwing arrows/bolts with the short bow/crossbow.

And what the difference is? I assume it adds the magical pluses, but with a +0/+0 Short bow, the missles do more damage when shot vs thrown?

Shooting improves accuracy, not damage (unless CD changed that for Rogue Touch).
Shooting with a "magical plusses" or blessed/freezing/etc. bow or crossbow adds that benefit to your shot.
