Useless blessed weapon

Just found on lev 18: 10 +2 +2 blessed darts...

My first ever blessed weapon completely useless?
Throw a blessed dart at enemies with special abilities to *cancel* them out. No aquator rusting, rattlesnake poison, nymph stealing, etc! Then kill them with your weapon of choice at your leisure
