Ok, one last post/announcement while I'm on break here...

This morning due to popular demand I've enabled Avatars for everyone! You will need to pick an image somewhere between 20x20 and 80x80 pixels in size to upload here. Check your user profile for the way to upload. I have no problem with people's use of Bestiary or leaderboard images as their Avatar here if you like them. If you pick an image elsewhere keep it clean please

Enjoy! I will be back in the forums sometime tonight (Friday night) :D

Forum avatars! My 80x80 avatar saved as a .gif file was 6.7KB. :( Tried saving as a .png but it was 14KB! Reducing it to 75x75 brought it down to 5.7KB which is less than 6KB. Now I can use it.

Thanks!

For those people like me who don't have software on their machine to resize photos, you can use a free site such as http://www.picresize.com. Manually set the dimensions of the picture to 80 x 80. When you are ready to save, go to the advanced editor settings, select JPG and select a quality that keeps the size of the image below 6KB.
