Re: iPhone 3G-S Early Adopters / Rogue Touch Testing?

[quote="Should be an exciting time for all of you who stuck around through the dark times[/quote] Patience always pays off CD :D . Looking forward to seeing all these little bugs/cheats that assist in huge dives removed! Much prefered it when reaching level 30+ was a major feat. Just noticed so...

Re: Bug Reports

Just finished a run where I died on level 56 and had to replay the damn level 3 times because of crashing back to the home screen. The bad thing was that I would keep crashing in the room with the stairs. On the third try to make it to level 57 I ended up dying so boo hoo for crashes. Btw I had a r...

Re: Ehh...

I wish spammers would realise that no one ever buys anything from these a-holes!

I actually read somewhere that postal junk mail accounts for nearly 20% of all paper usage. A very sad state of affairs if you ask me...

Re: Uh oh.. found a way to cheat.

With regards to floor dancing, myself and Mike I believe have actually proved that you can get much higher scores without this. Having talked about our two huge runs, it was very clear to both of us that floor dancing doesn't hold the massive advantage that it appeared to have. What it actually show...

Re: To Die Or Not To Die

Great run jim2wheels...A gold to move ratio of 2/1 is really good and proves you didn't floor dance too much....when i turned around at level 75 i did have more than 100k gold as well so i think we would have been close....to your point quite a few hours over a few days did go into this run...that'...

Re: To Die Or Not To Die

You should always play to the death with a none secret character Mike, its the only scoreboard that doesnt get refreshed after x days. On a good run at the moment up to level 80 something, got about 90,000 gold and not looking in too bad shape, although my health has been wittled down to under 90 :c...

Re: Bug Reports

Not necessarily a bug, but an oddity: I think the experience values for Zombie (~5) and Ice Monster (~15) may be swapped. Also, Emus appear later than seems reasonable for how easy they are to kill. (Loving the game; I've been a fan of Rogue since the mid-eighties. Still haven't eked out a win; stu...

Re: Most Annoying Monster

Vampires every day of the week - nothing worse than being on level 40+ with your hp down to two digits!

EDIT: As experienced on my last run!

Re: Uh oh.. found a way to cheat.

Make the Amulet "sticky," so that once it's picked up it can't be dropped. That would solve all the other problems with "level dancing". Be careful in how much you pump up the equipment in floors 27+; lack of balance would render any "deep dive" competitions meaningles...
